A lot has happend since my last posting in July. Mainly, I got married and have some new portraits I've been working on.

Huge thank you to my now husband for all his support and love and also to both of our families, for traveling out to Washington to share our special day with us.

Now that the wedding has happened, I'll be spending more time in my studio painting pooches and working on getting my art on display in the Seattle and surrounding communities.

First of all I want to say a big thank you to all those who came by for the July art walk at the beginning of the month. I was able to raise almost $100 which is on it's way to Greyhound Pet's Inc. Thank you Fremont Place Book Company for displaying my art and hosting this fun dog friendly event!

Congratulations to Daisy the greyhound and her family, they won the raffle for a custom portrait that I am currently working on.

A special thank you to Cascade Brewing in Oregon for donating a six gallon keg of Summer Gose for the night, I'm sure it's presence drew in visitors. I know it enhanced the evening's experience. Thank you Cascade Brewing for supporting Greyhound rescue!

My collection is traveling out to Bremerton for the month of August and will be on display at Olympic Coffee.

Greyhound Friendly Friday Night Out

My dog art will be on display through the month of July at Fremont Place Book Company.

This collection is part of the Fremont Art Walk July 2nd from 6-8:30. For the Art Walk, I will be present and I will be holding a raffle for a custom portrait, or one of the existing portraits of the winners choice.

A limited supply of specialty beer from Cascade Brewing has been DONATED especially for this event as the head brewer is a fan of rescue and hounds!

I plan to donate all proceeds from the raffle to our local greyhound rescue organization and would LOVE it if those interested would stop buy with their greys, as this is a dog friendly event!

March and April have been busy months for me. We moved house and have a new addition to the family, a beagle we adopted from Vashon Island Pet Protectors.

Part of the excitement is being on display at A Dog's Dream Natural Pet Supply. For all those greyhound locals, you'll want to be sure and visit them. They have many specialty greyhound supplies, gift cards and of course an incredible selection of healthy food and snacks for you needle nose. The Georgetown Artwalk is this coming Saturday, April 10th from 6-9. Come check out the art and bring your furry friend or friends along for a fun outing!

Here are pictures of two portraits that I have just completed. They will be part of the display all next month starting February 6th at the K.I.S.S. Cafe in Ballard and part of the art walk on the 13th.

The greyhound is Jack, a rescued racer and the American Pitbul is Axle, a parvo survivor.

A proud owner of three retired racers, Stephanie will display her work at the K.I.S.S. Café in Ballard throughout the month of February. Graziella's finally got a portrait of herself! It took a while to get color inspiration just right...

We call Graziella "Wiggle Nose" around the house because she is always sniffing the smells, you see her nose come wiggling around the kitchen corner and hear her loudly sniffing before she actually peeks around the corner.
